About

The Author

Troy Fielder (he/him) is a final year Natural Sciences student at the University of East Anglia. Through his studies, Troy has begun to engage with concepts ranging from global climate change to environmental politics and policymaking to the ethics of various technologies. Drawing on this diverse set of knowledge, as well as wider reading in the arts and literature, Troy hopes to explore the interface between environmental change, society, and culture. Ultimately, through his writing, he seeks to unpick the evolving nature of human relationships, both with ourselves and others, in these increasingly disturbed times.

From 2019-2020, Troy was the Communications and Marketing Officer for Public Interest Environmental Law UK (PIEL UK), and he is currently working as a contributing editor to the Action4Justice Environmental Law module. Troy’s writing has been featured on an online pension fund community, mallowstreet; in an EDF Energy investor newsletter; on the website of an ‘activist consultancy’, Jericho Chambers; and in the UEA student newspaper, Concrete.
